John J. Hazelhoff Construction, LLC. was forged from principles developed over five generations of residential design and construction.  The company today remains a family owned and operated business intently focused on the highest levels of customer service and attention to detail. 

I believe that commitment to quality design is of singular importance in creating truly unique homes for each client.  The character of each home created through that design is the true measure of my success.

I am a fifth generation builder and have spent my life as an integral part of a family contruction business.  In 1996, I graduated with honors from The University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Architecture.  This education is a key component to my understanding of the value and intentions of good design.  My combined architectural education and building experience allow me to maximize design opportunities as they present themselves.  This unique ability allows me to provide true design/built homes. 

My family and I call Decatur, MI home.  This has proven to be a great central location for servicing most of Southwest Michigan.  Much of the Lakeshore, from Bridgman to Saugatuck is readily accessible.  The I-94 corridor to Kalamazoo has also been a key part of the service area through the last decade.
